Service Description: This map includes data collected by OC Environmental Resources pursuant to the monitoring and reporting requirements of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Fifth Term Permit (Order R9-2013-001, as amended by Orders No. 2015-001 and R9-2015-0100, NPDES CAS0109266) issued by the San Diego Regional Board (RWQCB). The data contains the locations of municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) outfalls features. The dataset was expanded in August 2017 to include North and Central Orange County outfalls. Initial outfalls were added using aerial imagery, OCFCD drainage facility maps, and information from other NPDES monitoring programs. Important Fields: INSPECTED - Identifies whether the outfall has verified by field visit, could not be found, or removed from the inventory. GlobalID - Relates the outfall with field observations.
